This is my first personal post on my blog. I planned to write it after feeling very bad about leaving my friends after the 4 year friendship. Technically speaking, evrybody was in touch with each other on orkut or facebook. But Everbody felt as though they are going to miss something. I was really moved by my friends and i wept in my heart, although others showed it out. I could not sleep tight on the day farewell took place. I could see the feelings from their eyes and that is the real sign of frienship we nurtured for the 4 long years. My classmates are one of the kind and i thank god for giving them to me.. I hope this friendship lasts forever.

Sorry for making it tooooo formal. I finally expressed something that was coming out of my heart.. !!

Hard Rock.. Metal... EEEEEE !!

hi all,

I came across this cool pic while browsing and decided to write abt it..

This whole point of listening to hard rock, metal, etc.. all these stuff has become a fashion now-a-days.
I've seen guys trying to be "DUDEs" listening to this music, without any real-interest towards it.
The high volume in such songs is really enough to disrupt any kind of loud conversation that may occur in the world.
I appreciate people who listen to that kind of music with real interest. In case u find a person faking, to like metal and hard rock, just scold them with bad words, such tat he/she should remember the words wen they hear the music for next time..

Am i making a point here... ? May be not.. This is just an update post to check whether my blogger account is working !!! :-P Anyways, spread the word ...

RAM(Random Access Mem) Prices up. . !

It all started with my computer creating lot of problem without a proper antivirus.
Somehow my system got loaded with plenty of virus in windows(so using linux now).. I wanted to reinstall windows and so thought of increasing my RAM( presently 128 + 128 MB = 256 MB, which is now an antique.). A month back i got a 1GB ram for my frnd and it cost 1400( Transcend). Suddenly the prices increased to Rs.1950+ .. And some other brand rose to 1750.. The whole point of writing this post is that i need to know who actually fixes these prices.. ? Any idea. do let me know.. Im absolutely confused over this issue.
Few questions that arouse in my mind :
1. Is government increasing the tax ?
2. Are the shop owners joining together and fixing a price ?
3. The old RAMs work with the same speed as the new ones.. whats different here ?
4. Finally.. Why are they screwing my head, when im really in need of one. !!

If you cud help me out here, plz answer these questions.
i would wait for ur comments before purchasing. So do comment soon, cause my system is getting eaten up..

Delhi 6 songs rock....

I recently heard the songs of Delhi 6- Abishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor starrer.
Music Director for this movie is A.R.Rahman. With a total of 10 songs, this album takes us back to some
of the past tunes, plus the usual Rahman touch, which has given it a sensational feeling.

1. Masakkali- I liked this song so much that i heard it atleast 10 times on the first go.

The singer Mohit Chauhan has a silvery voice. Oh.. my.., without any kind of complex stuff,

his song still gets a thumbs up..

2. Arziyan- Sung by Kailash Kher, sounds gr8 when heard twice or thrice.

3. Hey kaala bandhar- Sung by Karthik and co., is really superb. Its gr8 having Karthik getting one more

oppurtunity in Hindi ( After the "bekha" hit song). He has utilized it to the max.

Finally the rap in between the lines are understandable to an extent.

4. Delhi 6- The rap by blazee is cool.. with understandable wordings..(at last !!)

And this song portrays some of the cool beats of Rahman.

Other songs are really nice, but i felt they could be better when viewed with the movie.

Waiting eagerly to watch the movie..

Hate these News Channels..

Im very ashamed of the Indian news channels. It was 6.30 pm on 26th Nov.
Chennai and other places in Tamil Nadu were lashing with rains. All tamil news channels were concerned about the worst situation that were prevailing. There had been continuous holidays for schools and colleges all around Tamil Nadu.There had been flodds at several places.
and there was a severe cyclone formation.

When i changed to english news channels.. to mention NDTV, Times Now, Headlines today,
CNN IBN, etc. all were not even concerned of that. But when it happens to any place in the north they flash it immediately. Is it that TN is not fit for them ? i was watching the channels till 7.30 leaving all my work to see whether it is shown. I was dissapointed finally when i saw Deepika Padukone's sensational news regarding her next film overpowered the Heavy rains news in TN. Media.. Do see what is important. South india is the major producer of crops and are no less than anybody. It is a serious matter of concern.

i happened to see SAROJA movie after a long time.. Oh.. My..It Was an absolute Thriller.
The inline comedy tracks were really cool.. i was astonished to see a tamil film WITHOUT LOVE..
Thats wat we all expect from tamil cine industry.. Different subjects and characters..

I am an ardent fan of A.R.Rahman.. As everybody knows him as a living LEGEND in the field of music.

I always find his songs to be different and absolutely amazing. The first time u listen to a song composed by him, u might fell uncomfortable.. But dont leave it.. keep hearing a couple of times.. You will get to know the depth of his music.. Here are some My Favorites from his composition. The list keeps on changing.. so keep viewing this blog for great songs.

Most of the DVDs .. I mean mostly movies in DVDs are associated with some region..

There are 5 regions in the DVD. Eg: US, Southeast Asia , etc.. not sure.. check it up.

Most of the DVD players produced now, work with all kind of DVDs.

For some old Players you can remve the DVD region from it.

How to delete Virus from USB drives ?

I've had reports from lot of my friends that they hav lot of problems due to unknown virus in the pendrives.

I have found a new method to delete some common viruses using windows.
Firstly i really got to thank linux OS-UBUNTU thru which i discovered this. But it is impossible for everybody to use linux.
I found a way tht could be done thru Windows itself.
Most of the common viruses have 2 basic files:
1.Autorun.inf -- Appears with each virus. The name doesnt differ.
2.Some executable file(.exe)

these will be usually hidden. Even if u activate the show hidden files option, you will not be able to find it.
So,BEFORE inserting the pen drive goto My Computer->Tools->Folder Options->Show hidden files and folders.
click that and press "Apply".
Now insert the pen drive. open it. You can see 2 dull icons. One is autorun.inf and the other exe file..
Hurray !! u have found the virus. Now just like any other file select these 2 and delete it.

I assure, ur drive is absolutely free from virus...!

PS: This is the best discovery i've made until now. use it and enjoy!!

I've got lot of queries from my friends regarding movie downloads.
With the emerging broadband connections, more downloading is going on.

NOTE: It is Absolutely illegal to download movies from the internet.
Just think about the efforts all the technicians put into work !!
Think ! Think !
1. download a good client- may be uTorrent or BitLord.
2. go to good torrent provider website. I prefer www.isohunt.com
3.type the song or video.. download the torrent
4.then open the file with the torrent software u've installed..
5. thats it..! after downloading enjoy..
6. Last Step: Think once again about the efforts they've put.( not in the context of downloading a new movie. but to WATCH them in THEATRES ! :-)

Linux audio editing

I was searching the internet for a good audio workstation, which could probably work in linux. To my surprise i found most of the high-end audio editing softwares were free of cost...:-) One such software is the CINELERRA , which has both video and audio capability. Bu it needs a "minimal" config like 4gb ram, 200gb hdd, graphics card and opteron processor.
So i wanted a better software for audo editing alone, which would suite my configuration.. then i found ARDOUR

look at this pic and u will surely know its magnitude.awsome gui... windows cannot match linux`s performance...
PS: I also heard that CINELERRA in linux can be compared on par with Final cut studio in Mac, with respect to functionality.
